blogs and first thought - Manners

I actually enjoy blogging. Some people may think that it's stupid to put your thoughts out there, but I think it's fun to read what other people do or think. I started my family blog, and realized there were other things I wanted to write about, however, I didn't feel it was appropriate to post them on my family blog, so here I am...I made my own!

Now, I can blog about random things...YAY.

First random thing...Manners

My Auntie Mildred made a comment about Jonah the other day when she was visiting. I gave Jonah some milk and he said "Thank you Mommy." My Aunt was impressed and said that he had good manners.

As a parent, I felt proud of my lil 2 year old son. I try my best to teach him the best manners possible. It bugs me when I see people who aren't grateful for things that are done for them. So, I want to teach my kids when they are young to appreciate things and have good manners. I hope that Jonah will continue to say his thank yous, his pleases, his your welcomes....Hopefully his manners will be a good example to his little sister Jordan...my little spice girl! She can be a feisty one! hahah.

But you better believe that I will continue to teach my kids proper manners...In my opinion, it's better to start early rather than later.
